Quick Vote offers three template types, namely form, result and archive templates. Following are the discription of individual template types and their use:
- form
These templates are used in generating a submittable form that is displayed to the public. Usually this form consists of radio/checkbox input fields, a button for casting the vote, button for viewing the results and a link to the archive. Some poll forms may also choose to include with this form the chart compiled of current poll results.
- result
These templates are used in generating results for the public either after they cast their vote, or when they choose to view the results of the poll.
- archive
These templates are used in generating the archive of previous polls and their results.
Subsequent sections will go into details of tags that go into these templates.
